Let’s Talk Shipping
We get it, when you order something delicious, you want it yesterday. Our team works hard (and fast) to get your pantry pleasures packed and on their way from our Sydney HQ as quickly as possible. Below you’ll find all the juicy details on how we ship.
Shipping Rates & Dispatch Times
We ship Australia-wide using Australia Post for reliable, trackable delivery.
Standard shipping: 3-8 business days (metro areas)
Express shipping: 1-3 business days (metro areas)
We don’t dispatch orders on weekends or NSW public holidays.
Order Processing
Orders placed before 1pm AEDT (Mon–Fri) are usually dispatched the same business day. Orders after 1pm will ship the next business day.
Once your order leaves our warehouse, you’ll receive a shipping confirmation email with a tracking number, so you can stalk your jars every step of the way.
Tracking, Notifications & Delivery
You’ll receive automated email updates when:
- Your order is confirmed
- Your order is shipped (with tracking details)
- Your delivery is on its way
If no one’s home, your parcel may be left in a safe place or taken to the nearest Australia Post outlet for collection.
We recommend providing a safe delivery location or a business address if possible as our products don’t love being left in direct sun for hours.
Multiple Addresses
Shopping for multiple food lovers? You’ll need to place separate orders for each shipping address - our checkout currently only supports one destination per transaction.
Incorrect Shipping Details
Double-check your details before checking out (especially unit numbers — we see you, apartment dwellers).
If you realise there’s an error before your order ships, email hello@houseofnom.co immediately.
If your order has already been dispatched, we’ll do our best to assist, but we can’t guarantee re-routing. Returned parcels can be resent for a $12 redelivery fee (payable before re-dispatch).
International Shipping
We currently deliver within Australia and New Zealand. For New Zealand, we use Australia Post International Express with delivery in approximately 6–10 business days.
If you’re based elsewhere and craving that umami magic, email us - we can arrange DHL Express international delivery on request. Please note that customs duties, taxes, and import fees are the buyer’s responsibility.
Shipping From
All orders are packed with care from our Sydney HQ. We use re-use packaging and utilise recyclable packaging materials wherever possible.
When Ship Happens
Once your order has left our hands, it’s in the capable hands of our delivery partners.
We’ll always do our best to track down delayed parcels, but House of Nom cannot be held responsible for delays caused by postal services, weather, or local delivery issues.
We appreciate your patience (and promise the first spoonful will be worth the wait).
Damaged or Missing Parcels
If your order arrives damaged, incomplete, or MIA, please contact hello@houseofnom.co within 7 days of delivery (with your order number and photos, if applicable).
We’ll review the issue and make it right because melted spreads are only cute when intentional.
